Arun Pandian to make a comeback with Helen remake

Arun Pandian, who took a break from acting for almost a decade, will be making a comeback through the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film, Helen. The film, which stars his daughter Keerthi Pandian (known for playing the lead in Thumba), will be directed by Rowthiram and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara-fame Gokul. 

Helen, starring Anna Ben, is a survival drama of a girl who gets trapped in cold storage. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, it got both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Apart from acting in the film, Arun Pandian will also bankroll it under his banner A&P Groups, along with his other daughter Kavitha Pandian. 

The makers are yet to announce the title and the rest of the cast and crew of the remake.
