The shooting of Marvel Studios' The Eternals has been completed. The film directed by Chloé Zhao is a follow up to Avengers: End Game and it will feature humanoids who were originally created by alien Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7000 years. The Eternals battle against the evil Deviants to safeguard the earth.

Since the story takes place over several thousand years, audiences could get to see their favourite Marvel characters during various time periods. Starring Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, and Salma Hayek, the film is inspired by the comic books of the same name. The film is expected to hit the screens during the latter half of this year.

Apart from The Eternals, the MCU has films like Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and series like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, in the lineup for the fourth phase.
