The multi-faceted Parthiban has been receiving accolades for his recent directorial, Oththa Seruppu, a thriller that stars the actor-director as the only character. On the back of that success, Parthiban is now Hollywood bound. 

In a statement, Parthiban said, "Towards the end of 2020, I will be working in an English film. This was an opportunity that came my way after the director saw Oththa Seruppu. I will be travelling to Los Angeles in March for further discussions." 

Parthiban also has his plate full with a number of projects in Tamil. The actor is part of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film, Thuglak Darbar. This is the second collaboration between these actors after the 2015 runaway hit, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. 

Parthiban will also be making his digital debut with Suzhal, an Amazon Prime series helmed by the director duo, Pushkar and Gayathri. In addition to this, he will star in actor Simran's production, and director Ezhil's upcoming film based on noted writer Rajesh Kumar's novel. 

Apart from these acting projects, Parthiban will soon return to the director's chair with Iravin Nizhal, which is touted to be Asia's first single-shot film.
