Kadambur Raju: We will ensure that the Producers Council makes the right decision in Darbar loss issue

A few days ago, several distributors had announced that Rajinikanth's latest film Darbar had performed underwhelmingly and they were planning to meet the Super Star at his residence seeking compensation for their losses.

The decision was reportedly taken after the film's production house Lyca claimed that they are not liable for their loss according to the contract and that the distributors can instead reach out to the actor for a solution.

When questioned about the ongoing issue, Kadambur Raju, the Minister for Information and Publicity, said, "The distributors haven't raised a complaint to the government about the Darbar loss. The government will reach out to the Producers Council and ensure that the right decision is made."

Meanwhile, the distributors tried to meet Rajini today at his residence to sort out the issue. But they were blocked by the police force and diverted to Raghavendra Mandapam.
