Khedda marks the acting debut of Uthara. Manoj says that the film addresses the dark side of social media and its negative impact on a family. The film also stars Sudev Nair, Sudheer Karamana, Sarayu and Jolly Chirayath in pivotal roles.

Kerala State award winner Prathap P Nair is the film's cinematographer, while Manoj Kannoth handles the editing.
