Just two weeks after the news about NBC canceling Superstore, it is now reported that a spin-off is in development centering on Cheyenne and Bo.

Superstore was created by Justin Spitzer and premiered in 2015. The workplace comedy-drama is about the employees of a big box store called Cloud 9, as they cope with the joys of working in retail. Superstore is known for mirroring real-life topics. In fact, the show is currently focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact.

Earlier this month, news broke from NBC that Superstore will end after its current sixth season. The news about the cancelation came after the exit of lead America Ferrera, two episodes into the season.

Now, Deadline has reported that NBC is developing a spin-off with Nichole Sakura and Johnny Pemberton returning as Cheyenne and her husband Bo.

Bo & Cheyenne comes from Superstore writers and executive producers Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu, with creator Spitzer also set to executively produce alongside Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad.
