Apple TV+ has renewed its much-acclaimed Servant series for a third season. The news about the renewal comes a month before the second season starts streaming on the platform.

Servant is a psychological-horror story of a Philadelphia couple who take care of a doll after their infant son's death. When the couple hires a babysitter for the doll, scary things begin to happen. Servant premiered on November 28, 2019 with three episodes, before releasing the rest of the seven episodes weekly.

The show's executive producer and popular filmmaker M Night Shyamalan took to Twitter to share the news about the renewal. He also hinted that there might be much more to come down the road, as he wants to tell his story "in 40 parts."

The second season of the show will premiere on January 15, 2021. Fans have already theorized a possible role switch between the characters Sean and Dorothy.
