Writers Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma have gotten engaged in a private ceremony. They will be tying the knot soon. 

Kanika and Himanshu had made their relationship public in June. The couple was recently engaged in a private ceremony attended by family members. 

“After being in a relationship for a while now, we are happy to announce we are engaged and getting married soon. Looking forward to a happy and great life ahead,” the couple said in a joint statement.

Himanshu is a National Award-winning writer of films like Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, and Raanjhanaa. Kanika is an author and screenwriter known for penning Manmarziyaan, Kedarnath, Judgementall Hai Kya, and Guilty. She was previously married to director Prakash Kovelamudi. The duo separated in 2017.
