Following Pattabiraman and the yet-to-be-released Maradu 357, director Kannan Thamarakkulam has announced another thriller titled Udumbu. The film stars Anjelina Lyson, Senthil Krishna, Alencier Ley, Hareesh Perady, and Dharamajan Bolgatty. 

Udumbu has a script by newcomers Aneesh Sahadevan and Sreejith Sasidharan. Ravichandra, who helmed the camera for Pattabhiraman and Maradu 357, is returning as cinematographer for this project and VT Sreejith is the film's editor.

Udumbu has music by Saanand George Grace and lyrics by Rajeev Alunkal. The film is jointly produced by 24 Motion Films and KT Movies House.
