Popular playback singer and TV personality, Sunitha Upadrasta, has announced her engagement to Ram Veerapaneni.

Sunitha took to social media and posted pictures from the engagement ceremony to announce the news. Veerapaneni is a businessman and the Managing Director of Whacked Out Media.

In her post, Sunitha wrote, "Like every mother, I dream of settling my children down well. At the same time, I am blessed with wonderful and thoughtful children and parents who always want to see me well settled in life.... the moment has finally come... Ram has entered my life as a caring friend and a wonderful partner. We are both delighted to enter into wedlock very soon. Thanks to all my well-wishers who understand that I keep my life very private. Please support and be with me as you always do."

Sunitha is well-known for singing many hit songs in Telugu and Kannada. She has won two Filmfare awards — for Em Sandehamledu from Oohalu Gusagusalade and O Priyathama from Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu. She was also nominated thrice for Filmfare — for Neela Neela Mabbulu from Pravarakhyudu, Egiripothe from Vedam, and Prathama from Modalasala.
