Kajal Aggarwal will be teaming up with director Kalyan of Gulaebaghavali and Jackpot fame for a film titled Ghosty. Said to be a 'horror-fantasy dark comedy', the film will go on floors next month.

Director Kalyan says, "The title can be interpreted in the obvious manner given this is a horror film. But also, in Tamil, it means a gang. I believe this will be the first film Kajal shoots for after her wedding. It's a female-centric film without a male lead and Kajal will be playing a police officer who has to deal with ghosts troubling her. In line with my previous films, Ghosty will also be a fun and jolly film."

Also starring Yogi Babu, Rajendran, Urvashi, Nasser, Tony, and Thangadurai, Ghosty will have cinematography by Jacob. The rest of the crew is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Kajal has in her kitty Mosagallu and Acharya in Telugu, the Hindi film Mumbai Saga, as well as Hey Sinamika, Indian 2, an untitled film with Deekay, and the long-delayed Paris Paris in Tamil.
