After scoring a hit earlier this year with Sarileru Neekevvaru, Anil Ravipudi has become a name to reckon with. The director, who spent a productive lockdown with his family in his native district of Prakasam, has completed the first draft of his upcoming film.

According to a source, Anil has narrated the storyline to his F2 hero Venkatesh and received the go-ahead from the actor. While speculations were rife that the film has been titled F3, sources close to Anil have informed Cinema Express that the film will have a fresh script and is definitely not a sequel to F2.

"It's going to be a fresh script and is not a sequel or prequel to his earlier films. Venkatesh is excited with the storyline and gave his nod almost instantly," says a source.

The film will go on floors later this year.

"At the moment, they are looking forward to starting the film after Dussehra. However, a clear picture will emerge in two-three weeks, once the Covid-19 curve flattens," the source adds.

A leading production house is in talks to bankroll this film.
