Actor Sooraj Pancholi on Saturday announced he’s quitting Instagram. His departure comes after his name was linked to the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian. It was rumoured earlier that Sooraj knew Disha, who allegedly jumped off a high-rise building in Malad, Mumbai, on June 8. Sushant died by suicide a week later on June 14.

“See you Instagram! Hopefully will see you someday when the world is a better place. I need to breathe #Suffocated,” Sooraj wrote in Instagram Stories. The actor had earlier denied knowing Disha and said the rumours affected his mental health. His parents, actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, also denied the reports.
