Netflix show Patriot Act, featuring Indian-American comedian Hasan Minhaj, discussing a range of topics including Indian elections and most recently the coronavirus crisis, has been canceled. The show aired on Netflix between October 2018 and June 2020 over six seasons and has 39 episodes. The final episode was released on June 26.

Hasan Minhaj took to Twitter and announced the news. 

Notably, the show also won an Emmy and a Peabody Award. Minhaj's take on several political and cultural issues drew worldwide attention and the show was widely-acclaimed for the in-depth analysis alongside standup comedy.
