We had earlier reported that Vishnu Vishal and director Ram Kumar would be collaborating again for the sequel to their 2014 hit comedy Mundasupatti. But now, it looks like the actor-director duo have another sequel on the cards, this time for Ratsasan. 

In response to a tweet on Ratsasan, Vishnu Vishal tagged Ram Kumar asking if the sequel script is ready, to which the director replied that it is in process. The exchange has confirmed that the sequel might be happening soon, but other details are yet to be known. 

The 2018 thriller was a blockbuster and was recently ranked third in IMDb’s list of top rated Indian films. Ratsasan also bagged the top spot in IMDb’s list for Tamil films. 

Notably, this is the third sequel in Vishnu Vishal’s kitty after Mundasupatti 2 and Indru Netru Naalai 2. Apart from these, the actor also has Manu Anand’s FIR, Prabhu Solomon’s Kaadan, and Kalavu-fame Karthick Murali’s Mohandas in the pipeline.
