Last month, articles surfaced online that director Susienthiran is planning on a film with Jai and Smruthi Venkat in the lead and the film will also star Bharathiraaja with whom Susienthiran worked in Pandiya Naadu and Kennedy Club. It's now known that the shooting of the film has been wrapped up.

A source close to the film has confirmed that the shooting has been wrapped up in break-neck speed in and around Oddanchatram which also happens to be Susienthiran's hometown. The yet-to-be-titled film was said to revolve around incidents related to the coronavirus pandemic, but the source also called that as rumours and confirmed that the film will be a commercial film in the lines of the director's Naan Mahaan Alla and Paayum Puli. Famous news anchor Divya Duraisamy will also be making her feature film debut with this film that's also said to star Harish Uthaman, Bala Saravanan and Kaali Venkat. Velraj has helmed the camera for this film, about which an official announcement is expected soon.

Meanwhile, Jai is working on films like Yenni Thuniga and Breaking News. Susienthiran is expected to work with Vikram Prabhu for his next project.
