Akshay Kumar the only Indian in Forbes 2020 list of 10 highest paid male actors

With an estimated earning of $48.5 million, Akshay ranks at number six on the list, though his rank has dropped two notches from last year

Akshay Kumar has been ranked sixth on Forbes’ list of 10 Highest Paid Male Actors in the world for 2020. Notably, the actor is the only Indian on the list.

The 2020 list was topped by Dwayne Johnson for the second time in a row with earnings of $87.5 million. Ryan Reynolds came second with $71.5 million, with Mark Wahlberg ($58 million), Ben Affleck ($55 million), and Vin Diesel ($54 million) following him.

Akshay’s earnings were estimated to be $48.5 million. The magazine also stated that the actor is reportedly getting $10 million for an upcoming web series, The End, adding that endorsements contribute the highest to his earnings. Akshay was listed fourth in last year's list.

Akshay Kumar is currently awaiting the release of Raghava Lawrence’s Laxmmi Bomb, which is slated to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor also has Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Bell Bottom, and Raksha Bandan in the pipeline.
