Prasanna, Varalaxmi part of new anthology

The crew has been shooting for this Telugu anthology in Chennai with the necessary guidelines in place

Prasanna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kishore, Abirami Venkatachalam, Rohini, and Jayaprakash will be part of a new Telugu anthology backed by Aha video. Produced by SNDS Dreamcatchers, the anthology has four parts, all written by Siva Anath, a long-time associate of Mani Ratnam.

Siva Ananth has also directed one of the four shorts, featuring Varalaxmi, Kishore, and Arjun. Director Barath Neelakandan, who made his Tamil debut with Arulnithi-starrer K-13, has helmed another short which has Prasanna playing the lead. Barath, who has previously worked as an AD on Nibunan, which also featured Prasanna, tweeted, “Glad to have worked twice with Prasanna, one of the best actors in Tamil cinema! This time I get to direct him!”

The theme of this anthology is yet to be revealed. The crew has been shooting in Chennai with the necessary guidelines in place.

Prasanna was last seen in Karthick Naren’s Mafia, while Varalaxmi's recent screen appearance was in Danny.
