CE Features

Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha has been pushed by a year. The film, which was initially set to hit the screens this Christmas, will now arrive on Christmas 2021.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of Forrest Gump (1994). The upcoming adaptation also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. This is the third collaboration between Aamir and Kareena after 3 Idiots (2009) and Talaash (2012).

Recently, Aamir and team were spotted in Turkey shooting for the film. It is the second Bollywood production to go on floors in a foreign location since the lockdown. The first, Bell Bottom, starring Akshay Kumar, began filming in London recently.

Laal Singh Chaddha is written by Atul Kulkarni. The comedy-drama is co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The film had gone floors in Chandigarh last year, followed by schedules in Kolkata, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Kerala and Jaisalmer.
