Amazon Prime Video has announced a virtual music concert for their upcoming series, Bandish Bandits. Slated for August 5, the concert will be headlined by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and feature acts by Armaan Malik, Jonita Gandhi, Prateek Kuhad, Shivam Mahadevan, Mame Khan, Ravi Mishra and Pratibha Singh Baghel. The event will stream live on Prime Video’s official Facebook and YouTube pages, and feature songs from Bandish Bandits’ original soundtrack.

“We have received an overwhelming response to the soundtrack,” Shankar Ehsaan Loy said in a statement, “The album is a seamless amalgamation of classical and pop music and features some of the most extraordinary melodies from Indian classical music alongside some really peppy tracks.”

Singer Armaan Malik added, “It is always exciting to perform live for my fans online and I am really looking forward to being a part of the Bandish Bandits concert alongside Jonita and Shankar Ehsaan Loy.”

Bandish Bandits follows the story of two musical prodigies from different backgrounds. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the show is fronted by Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Atul Kulkarni. The series is set to release on August 4.
