Considering the wait ahead for theatrical release of films, Warner Bros has decided to make its animated film Scoob! available digitally.

Scoob! was initially set to be released in theatres on May 15. However, it will now be available digitally for rental from the same date. No official statement has been made on whether the Scooby-Doo film will be released on HBO Max, which is set to be launched on May 27.

The voice cast of the animated film features popular names including Mark Wahlberg and Zac Efron.

In a statement, Warner Bros chairman-CEO Ann Sarnoff has said they are delighted to share the feel-good movie with families at home during this tough time. “While we’re all eager to be able to once again show our films in theaters, we’re navigating new, unprecedented times which call for creative thinking and adaptability in how we distribute our content,” the statement read.
