In lockdown awareness video, GVM  advises fans to not watch his two films

He explained that watching Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Yennai Arindhaal during the lockdown might inspire people to travel

On the request of Ramanathapuram police, Gautham Vasudev Menon has released an awareness video urging people to comply with Section 144 of CrPC and stay home during the ongoing lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak. 

He noted that many people have been venturing out during the lockdown simply out of boredom and warned of the consequences in the future. He also requested people to help daily wagers in whatever way they can and added that he has been contributing to help them. 

Speaking about his films, he asked fans to not watch Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Yennai Arindhaal during the lockdown. He explained that these two films, in which lead characters are primarily seen traveling, might inspire people to do the same. 

GVM shared that it would be better to watch Varanam Aayiram in this lockdown as the lead character Surya battles difficult times by focusing on fitness and emerges stronger in the film.
