We had earlier reported that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be joining hands with Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International for his next project. Word is that the Maanagaram director has already begun work on this film, which will reportedly have Rajinikanth playing the lead.

With the coronavirus outbreak delaying the release of Lokesh's upcoming project, the Vijay-starrer Master, it is said that the director is using the lockdown time to work on his next script.

Meanwhile, there have been no official updates so far about Master’s release, which was initially scheduled for April 9. Master, which has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi sharing screen space for the first time, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das in key roles. It has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Lokesh’s last release was Kaithi, starring Karthi, which, interestingly, clashed at the box office with Vijay and Atlee’s Bigil.
