Akash Puri, last seen in Mehbooba, is back in the reckoning with Romantic. The film marks the debut of debutant Anil Paduri as the director. Delhi girl Ketika Sharma, who rose to fame with her YouTube video, Thug Life (2016), is making her Telugu debut opposite Akash in the film produced jointly by Puri Jagannadh and Charmmee.

The makers released the first look poster of the film earlier today.

The film showcases Akash as a slum-dweller, who falls in love with a rich girl. Reportedly, Akash has undergone major physical transformation and got all beefed up for his character in the film.

The team has wrapped up a schedule each in Hyderabad and Goa. Also starring Makarand Deshpande, Romantic has music by Sunil Kashyap and is expected to hit the screens early next year.
