We had already reported that Mari Selvaraj will be collaborating with Dhanush for an upcoming project (referred to as D41). The Pariyerum Perumal director is currently discussing the script with Dhanush, who is in London for the shooting of his film with Karthik Subbaraj (D40). Mari has also been joined by Santhosh Narayanan, who is in charge of the music for both D40 and D41

”Wishing you only the best Mari Selvaraj, Dhanush and the entire team of D41. Very proud and excited to be a part of this,” Santhosh tweeted, along with a photograph of himself with the director.

Incidentally, Santhosh was also the composer for Mari’s first film, Pariyerum Perumal. Speculations suggest that Malayalam actor Rajisha Vijayan, known for films like June and Finals, might be roped in to play the female lead of this upcoming project.

Meanwhile, the Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj film, produced by Y Not Studios, also starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and Game of Thrones-actor James Cosco, is said to be gangster drama set completely in London.
