The plot of Navdeep Singh’s Laal Kaptaan slowly unravels. In the film’s first trailer, titled The Hunt, we saw Saif Ali Khan raising hell as a vengeful Naga Sadhu. The suspense continues with the film’s second trailer, titled The Chase, as more mysteries come to the fore.

The trailer introduces us to a vagrant played by Deepak Dobriyal, a ‘tracker’ with a heightened sense of smell. He has two killer dogs to aid him on his trails. On the other end, we see a heavily-veiled Sonakshi Sinha inform Saif about a coveted treasure. There are further hints about the protagonist’s past, as he talks about an ancient grief he nurses against his brother (presumably played by Manav Vij). Actor Zoya Hussain, who made her Bollywood debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz, is also glimpsed in the trailer.

Laal Kaptaan is produced by Aanand L. Rai and Eros International. The film is set to release on October 18, 2019.
