Director Ohmkar's Raju Gari Gadhi 3, the third film in the successful horror-comedy franchise of the same name, is said to be a remake of Tamil film, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2.  A source close to the production team says, "Ohmkar liked the core idea of Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 and felt it resonates across languages. He approached Santhanam (producer of Dhilluku Dhuddu 2) and acquired the Telugu remake rights for a fancy price."

Starring Santhanam and Shritha Sivadas, the Tamil horror-comedy is all about a youngster, who gets lured by his neighbours to fall in love with Maya, who is protected by a ghost. The shooting of Raju Gari Gadhi 3 is wrapped up and is likely to hit the screens during Dasara. The film has Ashwin Babu, Avika Gor, Ali, Hari Teja and Brahmaji in prominent roles.
