Lakshmi Sowjanya, a former associate of directors Krishna Vamsi and Sekhar Kammula, is turning director with an untitled film featuring Naga Shaurya in the lead. 

Touted to be a youthful entertainer, the film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments. Shooting will commence in October and the film is slated for release in May 2020. Details regarding the cast and crew will be announced soon. The production house took to social media to announce the project. 

Naga Shaurya, who last seen in the Samantha Akkineni-starrer Oh Baby, is currently shooting for Ashwaddhama, a thriller directed by debutant Ramana Teja. Also starring Mehreen Pirzada, the film's shooting is underway in Visakhapatnam.
