Jaggesh, Guruprasad to get back together for yet another comedy

A source close to the unit confirms that the production house, Vikyath Chitra, is bankrolling a project with the hit combination

Over the past year, we have been hearing rumours about actor Jaggesh and director Guruprasad reuniting for a film. It is now confirmed that the hit combination that gave us films such as Matta and Edelu Manjunath, is indeed back for a project.

On Monday, Guruprasad shared an illustration of himself and Jaggesh on Twitter.

A source close to the unit confirms that the production house, Vikyath Chitra, is bankrolling a project with the duo. Though a few producers had earlier made attempts to bring the actor and director together for a film, it looks like Vikyath Chitra, which is currently producing Inspector Vikram, will take up this project.

“After a few discussions, Jaggesh and Guruprasad have decided on a story, which is said to be a total comedy. Work is currently being done on the script. In all likelihood, the project will take off in November,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, Jaggesh is currently shooting for Totapuri,  a film directed by Vijayaprasad and produced by KA Suresh, which will be out as a two-part film series.
