We had previously reported that director Mysskin's Psycho, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, will have PC Sreeram as its cinematographer. While the film's shooting was wrapped up a while back, PC Sreeram took to Twitter on Monday to announce that his assistant, Tanveer Mir, will be credited as the film's cinematographer. Sreeram stated that due to health reasons he was not available for most of the shoot, and it was Tanveer who shot nearly the entire film.

"Congrats Tanveer. Mysskin understood my inability to work in the project due to an allergy problem. As you have done 99 per cent of the project, the credit will be in your name. Only truth shall prevail," said PC Sreeram in a post, followed by another tweet that read: "I tweeted today to reassure you that your work will be rewarded and recognised. Kashmir will be proud of Tanveer the artist even in these difficult times."

Psycho also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menen. The film marks Mysskin's third collaboration with Ilaiyaraaja after Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum and Nandalala.
