We had earlier reported that Mysskin, the director of Thupparivalan (2017) has begun working on the sequel to the film. 

The latest development is that the composing duties of the film will be undertaken by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. Vishal, the lead of the film, took to Twitter to make the announcement. 

Actor Prasanna, who played the character of Manohar, had previously updated on social media that the location scouting for Thupparivalan 2 had started, and that Mysskin is currently in London for the film's pre-production. 

Written and directed by Mysskin, the film will have Vishal reprising his role as Kaniyan Poongundran.

Produced under the actor's own banner, Vishal Film Factory, the film is expected to go on floors this month.
