Arvind Swami to dub for Chiranjeevi in Tamil version of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

The film is based on the life of Indian freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who led a large-scale peasant rebellion against the East India Company in Kurnool in 1846

Arvind Swami will be dubbing for Chiranjeevi in the Tamil version of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The Telugu film, also starring Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Amitabh Bachchan, is directed by Surender Reddy.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, bankrolled by Ram Chara, is based on the life of Indian freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who led a large-scale peasant rebellion against the East India Company in Kurnool in 1846, and is regarded as the first revolutionary of the Indian freedom movement.

Arvind Swami had recently voiced the character Scar in the Tamil version of Disney’s The Lion King (2019) and interestingly, he previously voiced Simba in its earlier version in 1998. The actor has also dubbed for Shah Rukh Khan in the Tamil version of Uyire.
