Even before the release of her debut film, Choosi Choodangaane, Varsha Bollamma has been noticed by Telugu filmmakers. Varsha has been signed to play the female lead opposite Anand Deverakonda in an untitled family drama, set in the backdrop of Guntur.

Directed by newcomer Vinod, and produced by V Ananda Prasad, the film, which addresses the problems of an Andhra middle-class family, went on floors recently. While the makers remain tight-lipped about her role, it is learnt that she plays a bubbly character in the film.

"The film shows Anand as a middle-class Andhra youth and Varsha plays his love interest. The first schedule was completed in the last week of August and the next schedule will begin either on September 9 or 10 near Vanasthalipuram. The team is planning to complete the entire shooting within two months and release the film either in December or early next year," informs a source.
