If you steal my work, at least do it properly: Largo Winch director Jerome Salle on Saaho plagiarism row

When Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi was released early last year, parallels were drawn between the Trivikram Srinivas-directorial and French director Jerome Salle's Hollywood film, The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch. Similar comparisons have come up now with the release of Prabhas-starrer Saaho

Right from the time, the Sugeeth-directorial hit the screens, social media has been abuzz with comparisons to the 2008 thriller based on the Belgian book, Largo Winch.

Responding to the ripoff claims, Salle took to Twitter, and said, "It seems this second 'freemake' of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly?" 

Meanwhile, Saaho, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Arun Vijay, and Jackie Shroff, is doing good numbers at the box office. The film was released last week in multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil.
