Pooja Kumar, who was last seen in Tamil in Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2, has been roped in to play a key role in Sibiraj’s upcoming film Kabadadaari. The film, a remake of the Kannada hit Kavaludaari, also has Nanditha Swetha, Nasser, Jayaprakash, and Mayilsamy in key roles.

“Pooja Kumar is a great addition to Kabadadaari. In fact, her character keeps moving the story from one level to the next and it involves many twists and surprises,” said G Dhananjayan, Creative Producer of the film, in a statement.

Directed by Sathya-fame Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, Kabadadaari will have music by Simon K King and cinematography by Rasamathi. The original story belongs to M Hemanth Rao, but John Mahendran and Dhananjayan will be credited for additional screenplay and dialogues.
