Ajith’s next was recently launched with the title Valimai. Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai was announced to have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Now, we hear that veteran art director Thotta Tharani might be part of the project. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

The same composer-cinematographer-art director trio had also worked on Ajith’s earlier film with Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit, Pink. Both films were produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP.

While there is speculation that Nazriya has been roped in for Valimai, the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.

Apart from Valimai, Thotta Tharani is also reportedly working on Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan adaptation that boasts of an ensemble cast comprising Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and more.
