On Diwali, Rana Daggubati came down heavily on K Productions, which is producing his upcoming film 1945. K Productions announced on Twitter that it will release the poster of the upcoming film as a Diwali treat. However, the actor asked the fans not to entertain the production house as the project is still unfinished, and the makers have failed to pay the actors.

However, K Productions went ahead with the release of the first-look poster on Diwali. In addition to that, Rajarajan of K Productions hit back at Rana Daggubati. He said that the film is alive and a huge amount of money has been invested in the project already.

The poster of the film features Rana Daggubati using the British national flag, the Union Jack, as a weapon. Looks like Rana is playing a freedom fighter in the movie.

Directed by Sathyasiva, 1945 is a period film with Regina Cassandra, Nasser, and Sathyaraj in important roles. The film is called Madai Thiranthu in Tamil.
