The first schedule of Rinzing Denzongpa’s Squad was wrapped up in Belarus with a big action sequence. Australian stunt coordinator Keir Beck (The Matrix, Mad Max: Fury Road) lead the team along with a stunt crew from 6 other countries.

“We had one of the biggest climax fights with 400 stuntmen. It was a modern-day battle, and not to give out too much but the toys were amazing,” Keir said. “There are very few times one writes something on paper and that translates onto the screen accurately. Through all the hardships, we managed to achieve something special.”

Keir praised the film’s producer-director Nilesh Sahay for his commitment. “He was extremely motivated. I didn’t see him sit down even for a second. Often he would go with his megaphone curating 400 people to all their positions before the carnage reminded me of a young Michael Bay,” Kier said.

The second schedule of Squad is set to roll from November 10. Rinzing is the son of veteran actor Danny Denzongpa. The newcomer is paired opposite Malvika Raaj in the film.
