George Reddy, a biopic on Osmania University's revolutionary student leader between the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, has locked its release date of November 22. Directed by Jeevan Reddy, the biopic features Vangaveeti-fame Sandy (Sandeep Madhav) in the titular role. The film's trailer, which was released recently, created good buzz on social media and also received appreciation from actor-politician Pawan Kalyan.

"George Reddy narrates the story of a forgotten hero of the 60s, who influenced the politics in the erstwhile undivided Andhra Pradesh. His ideals and his resistance to social discrimination and inequality were the most discussed topics of that era. The film depicts all these aspects and we are confident that the story of George Reddy will appeal to all sections," reveals producer Appi Reddy.

Also starring Abhay Bethiganti, Shatru, Manoj Nandam and Mushkaan Khubchandani in key roles, George Reddy has music by Suresh Bobbili and cinematography by Sudhakar Yakkanti of Marathi blockbuster Sairat fame.
