CE Features

We had earlier reported that Sibiraj will headline the Tamil remake of the Kannada film Kavaludaari. The project, which will be helmed by Sathya-filmmaker Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, has now been named Kabadadaari.

In a statement, Pradeep said, “We wanted a title that is in chaste Tamil but at the same time can be easily understood by the audience. It was quite challenging but glad that we got Kabadadaari finalised.”

The film will also star Sathyaraj, Nandita Swetha, Nasser, Jayaprakash, and Mayilsamy in important roles. Produced by Creative Entertainers and Distributors, Kabadadaari will have music by Simon K King and cinematography by Rasamathi. While the original story belongs to M Hemanth Rao, John Mahendran and Dhananjayan will be credited for additional screenplay and dialogues. Dhananjayan will be the creative producer for the project as well.

Kabadadaari is slated to go on floors next month, with the release planned in March 2020.
