The title of Ajith's next was officially revealed as Valimai last Friday. The film, which was referred to as Thala 60 previously, seems to have got its title from producer Selvakumar of Kenanya films. 

It is said that Selvakumar had registered the title a few years ago, and when director H Vinoth requested him to give the title for the Ajith-starrer, the former readily agreed to it, as he himself is a huge fan of the star. 

The film, which has the same principal team as Nerkonda Paarvai — Nirav Shah and Yuvan Shankar Raja — is said to be an action-thriller and Ajith is expected to sport a new look in it. 

The makers of the film, BayView Projects LLP, are expected to announce the rest of the cast soon.
