Veteran actor Sowcar Janaki, who returned to the silver screen with Vanavarayan Vallavarayan in 2014, has joined Santhanam's next with director Kannan. 

Sowcar Janaki has worked on the film for over fifteen days so far and her portions will be wrapped in a few days.

The full-fledged comedy also stars Tara Alisha Berry, who was last seen in Santhanam's A-1, and debutante Swathi Muppala as the female leads. Apart from them, the cast includes actors like Anandaraj, Motta Rajendran, and Lollu Sabha Manohar.

The yet-to-be-titled film is slated to hit the screens in February.

Director Kannan is simultaneously working on the remake of Ninnu Kori, starring Atharvaa, Anupama Parameshwaran, and Amithash Pradhan.
