Recently, it was officially announced that Ajith and H Vinoth’s upcoming collaboration has been titled Valimai. The film's formal launch ceremony happened in Chennai with producer Boney Kapoor in attendance. 

Now, the latest rumour about the film is that Nazriya Nazim, known for her roles in Raja Rani and Naiyandi, will play a lead role in Valimai. 

A few new pictures of the actor have gone viral on social media. Nazriya is seen in a new makeover in the pictures, and it is said that her new look is for Ajith’s Valimai.

Nazriya was last seen in Malayalam film Koode (2018). In Tamil, her last film was Thirumanam Ennum Nikka (2014). She  married Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil and took a break from the industry for a few years. 

Meanwhile, Valimai will soon go on floors. Almost all the crew members of Nerkonda Paarvai have been retained for the upcoming film. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for the Ajith-starrer.
