Music composer MM Keeravani's youngest son, Sri Simha is making his debut as an actor with a new-age film titled Mathu Vadalara. Directed by newcomer Ritesh Rana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment banner, the film's title was inspired by a chartbuster song from NT Rama Rao-starring mythological film, Sri Krishna Pandaveeyam (1966).

Recently, the makers have released the title poster which hints at the storyline of the film. The poster shows an old television set giving a glimpse of Chiranjeevi from the iconic police station fight scene in Khaidi (1983), a damaged clock, a calendar showing the date '10/01/2016', a selfie picture of three youngsters on a mobile, NTR's cutout as a Superman, and a poster of the Bollywood film, Johnny Gaddar. There's also writing on a wall that goes: "Customer is god. God is great," bloodstains on an envelope addressed to Teja, a delivery bag, and a cement plant pot. All of this seems to hit at a thriller.

Simha has gone for a complete makeover for his part in the film, which also features comedian Sathya in a crucial role.

In the past, Simha worked as an assistant director in Sukumar's team for Rangasthalam.

The upcoming film has music by Keeravani's eldest son, Kaala Bhairava.
