We had recently reported that Aruvi-fame Aditi Balan will be making her Malayalam debut in an upcoming Nivin Pauly-starrer titled Padavettu. Now we hear that she has signed another Malayalam film which has Kunchacko Boban playing the male lead.

Aditi will be replacing Nithya Menen, who was initially attached to the project. Malayali director Shaheed Kader, who made his directorial debut with the Tamil film, Chennayil Oru Naal (a remake of the Malayalam film Traffic), will be helming the project which is said to be a sports drama. Shaheed was an associate of the late Rajesh Pillai, the director of Traffic.
