It was announced yesterday by Santhanam's Dikkiloona team that cricketer Harbajan Singh will be playing an important role in the film. A few hours later they gave a surprise update that Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for the project.

The film's production house KJR Studios took to Twitter to announce the news.

Yuvan has previously sung for Santhanam's Sakka Podu Podu Raja, under Simbu's music and has composed for films like Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss (a) Baskaran, which starred the Dhilluku Dhuddu actor as a comedian. He is also handling the music for the long-delayed Selvarghavan film, Mannavan Vanthanadi, which has Santhanam playing the lead.

Dikkiloona, directed by dialogue writer-turned-filmmaker Karthik Yogi, is billed to be a time travel comedy that stars Santhanam in triple roles, as the hero, comedian, and villain.  The film is slated for release in April next year.
