We had earlier reported that Sun Pictures is producing Rajinikanth’s 168th film, which will be directed by Siva. Now, it is speculated that composer D Imman has been roped in for the project.

D Imman teamed up with Siruthai Siva for Ajith’s Viswasam, which featured the hit numbers Vettikattu, Adchithooku, and Kanaana Kanne. 

If speculations turn out to be true, then Siva and Rajini's yet-to-be-titled film, which is tentatively called Thalaivar 168, will mark Imman’s first collaboration with Rajinikanth.

The makers are yet to reveal details about the cast and the crew. Sun Pictures has earlier collaborated with Rajinikanth on Enthiran and Petta. Both the projects turned out to be highly profitable endeavours for the production house.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is busy with his upcoming film, Darbar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss, and slated for a Pongal 2020 release.
