Comedian Krishnamoorthy passed away today morning at 4:30 AM due to cardiac arrest. The actor was shooting for a film in Theni district's Kumuli yesterday when he had his heart attack. 

The actor, who made his debut through Kamal Haasan's Nayakan, became a well-known face after he began to act in comedies alongside Vadivelu. His role as the mentally-ill person in Thavasi made the audience notice his talent. He went on to surprise the audience by playing a character with grey shades in Naan Kadavul, directed by Bala.
