Anand Deverakonda, who made an impressive debut with Dorasani, has signed a comedy thriller. The upcoming film, to be produced by Vijay Mattapally and Pradeep Errabelly, will also mark the directorial debut of Damodara Attada. 

"It's a comedy thriller and Anand will undergo a makeover for the character. The film has two female leads and a couple of other popular actors. We will be announcing all the other details soon," says Vijay Mattapally. 

The film will go on floors in November soon after Anand wraps up his second film, which is directed by newcomer Vinod and produced by V Ananda Prasad. The film, which stars Varsha Bollamma as the female lead, addresses the problems of an Andhra middle-class family and it is expected to hit the screens in December.
