Fans of Godzilla and King Kong may have to wait a bit more as the release of Godzilla vs Kong has been pushed by eight months to November 20, 2020. The film was previously slated for release on March 13, 2020.

Godzilla vs Kong is the fourth film in the monster franchise, following Godzilla (2004), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).

The upcoming crossover film — directed by Adam Wingard and starring Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, and Brian Tyree Henry — pits the monsters against each other.

The film will face stiff competition from the Marvel film, Eternals, starring Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, and Kumail Nanjiani, which will hit the screens two weeks earlier on November 6.
